God, I loved the 90s. I was in long-term relationships and getting so much sex.

*sigh*

Sorry. Yeah, music and all that.

Started off with NKOTB's Hangin' Tough, and finished with Westlife's I Have a Dream.

So there's your answer.

Apart from Oasis and a couple of dance floor tracks the 90s wasn't great for music.

Re: The 90's
The best bit about 90's music is that you had to be out and about to appreciate, it wasn't all mainstream much of the great stuff was in clubs etc.....

Re: The 90's
Only good music from the 90s for me was dance music that sounded angry (eg Prodigy, Chemical Bros) or mellow (eg Massive Attack) and a few solo artists like Nick Cave and PJ Harvey.

All of Brit Pop was utter shite.

Went to loads of gigs in the 90s and there were some great bands aroung at the time. Some of my favourites were:

RATM
Cardiacs
Senser
Poisined Electrick Head
Chumbawamba
Prodigy
Metallica
Transglobal Underground
Apollo 440
Soundgarden

I remember seeing Skunk Anansie a lot of times as the support act.

Re: The 90's
Wasn’t really into Britpop but there’s was plenty of other decent stuff about, Soundgarden, Swervedriver, MBV, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, FNM. Went to a load of gigs, was in my teens/20s, had a fucking brilliant time.

Left out Tool and FNM - Slipknot pretty damn good too.
FNM's Angel Dust tour gig at the Brixton Academy was superb.

Quite enjoyed the Brit Pop, as I was only a young'un through the 90's.

Re: The 90's
I think I saw Ocean Colour Scene about 10 times... don't ask me why...

Some decent stuff... liked Oasis (early), Charlatans, Shed 7, RHCP, Primal Scream, Tu Pac, Weller The Foos... some decent stuff in sea of a load of trash... nowhere near my fav decade for music

Re: The 90's
The Charlatans had some brilliant albums in the 90’s, the best being The Charlatans released in 1995. Absolutely superb.
